We took my mother-in-law to Washington, D.C., on May 4 when she came down for The Girl's first communion. We met up with Serena and her hubby at the National Geographic Explorer's Hall to check out the live frog exhibit. We also viewed the Visions of China exhibit (which I actually enjoyed more than the frogs!), and as soon as we entered, The Girl said, "Look! The Warped Wall!" and made sure Serena snapped a photo of her Ninja Warrior moment.
And just because she's beautiful, here's a photo of The Girl from her first communion on May 3.
I can't believe in one week, she'll officially be a third grader. I can't believe she'll be 8 in July. I can't believe how the time just flies by...

Your daughter is beautiful and I love the red hair. Aren't little girls fun. I had to wait for Grandchildren to get my girl. She is 9 and just finished the 3rd grade. Thank you for introducing your precious child with us.
You enjoyed the Visions of China more than frogs...blasphemy! Shame, shame!
She is adorable... We all had fun...I liked the trash people too.
She's Such a cutie! :)
I know what you mean...I've been slowly putting my home movies onto DVD's and it's been a happy/sad time. It's so hard to believe how much time has gone by! They were just babies a few days ago! sob sob sob....I have a 7th grader now! Yikes!! My 4th grader is just as challenging...I'm in for a fun/crazy year! LOL!! Gotta enjoy it, it does fly by...
Thanks for all the compliments. She acts like she's embarrassed, but she's enjoying every minute of it. :)
What a Beauty! She looks quite "saucy", with that grin. I'm a July baby, too. July is a good month, even if it is too hot. Sounds like you guys had a wonderful time. (I think I would have enjoyed the China exhibit more than the frogs, too.
