Mailbox Monday -- November 3

Another Mailbox Monday, hosted by Marcia at The Printed Page.

Last week was a bit slow, with only one book on Monday, but then the mail carrier was busy on Friday and Saturday! Here's what I received:

Bible Illuminated (from Lisa Roe) **Look for my review later today!!**

Who By Fire by Diana Spechler (from Book Club Girl for Nov. 20 radio show)

Frantic by Katherine Howell (from the author)

Forever Lily: An Unexpected Mother's Journey to Adoption in China by Beth Nonte Russell

The Society of S by Susan Hubbard (from Serena at Savvy Verse & Wit)

What books did you snag last week???

******
You guys are posting way too fast for me! Please forgive me for being slow in reading and commenting. Google Reader is going to explode!! I've been behind since I was sick a few weeks ago, and family things, my full-time job, and exhaustion have made it hard for me to keep up. Just wish me luck and know that I'll catch up with your blogs soon!

Your weekly mailbox list never ceases to amaze me with its volume and magnitude!

Me? I got "the Rascal's Guide to Enlightenment" by Mat Zo. He's a whacky spiritualist humorist that I will be hosting on my blog next month. Looks like a fun read.

I really would love to read Who by Fire. Have you listened to the video on Book Club Girl for that one?

I hope you enjoy Society of S. I stupidly bought the copy without waiting to see if I had won the contest...but that worked out for you!

Those pictures in the Bible Illuminated really draw you in, from what I can see from the online previews.

I'll be reading *Who By Fire* also; looking forward to the discussion.

Enjoy all your books!

Oh I've been wanting to read Bible Illuminated so badly - it looks like such a beautiful book.

And how jealous I am that you have mail delivery on Saturdays (lol)

Hope you enjoy your reads :)

Bermudaonion: I can't wait to get a chance to read it! That will probably be a December review. With all the blog tours this month, I'm almost booked solid!

Sandra: Looking forward to your review of Who By Fire. Book Club Girl has some awesome shows!

Nicole: I'm waiting for MJ Rose's books, too, for my upcoming TLC tour! Can't wait to hear what you think of her writing.

Marvin: The Rascal's Guide to Enlightenment sounds like an interesting book. I especially like the title. Looking forward to reading about it on your blog!

Wendi: I agree the pics are amazing. Btw, my review is up!

Serena: No, I haven't seen the video. If I have time, I'll check it out. Thanks again for that book! Hey, it's another we can discuss together!

Dawn: I'm really looking forward to the discussion. The book looks great!

Joanne: I don't usually receive packages on Sat., so it was a pleasant surprise! Bible Illuminated is a beautiful book, particularly the cover. I wouldn't say all the pics are beautiful, though. Powerful, yes.

Avisannschild: I'll probably post that review right around Thanksgiving; the book discussion is on the 20th I believe.

Anna, I was so tempted by Forever Lily and if I wasn't so buried in review copies right now, I would have asked for it. Looking forward to your review!

I have The Society of S on my wishlist. And I tried for a review copy of Forever Lily but I rarely get books I request from Bostick (location issues I suspect) so I'm not holding my breath.
And I know what you mean, I seem to be perpetually behind on reading blogs!
