I'm back...and I already need ANOTHER vacation!

We had a great time camping in Pennsylvania, aside from the one rainy day when I was wet and miserable. I really enjoyed getting away from the city, sitting by the lake and listening to nature. I wish I'd had more time to read, but each time I pulled a book out, I ended up chatting or just staring at the trees. I didn't want to go home, but we returned yesterday, and I spent the afternoon unpacking and sleeping.

I decided to go online and try to catch up this morning since I have the day off from work and noticed that NONE of the posts I scheduled to automatically post during my vacation had posted. GRRR!!! And they all show up as scheduled, and the dates and times I selected are listed. I'm pretty frustrated, but I'm going to go ahead and publish them now. ***FYI, they are showing up as being posted on the dates and times I originally scheduled.***

Anyway, look for some reviews this week, hopefully some pictures from the trip, and a two-week Mailbox Monday next week. Off to do more laundry...

Anna, I feel your pain. I had written and pre-scheduled enough posts to cover my entire 2 1/2 weeks in Poland, knowing I would have limited access to Internet. None of them published! I was actually able to get most of them posted within a reasonable time close to the original post, but man was I pissed. When we were in the mountains of Poland, I had to park our car next to a big hotel and "borrow" their wireless so I could post some of them. I am so mad at Blogger I could scream. Of all times to have this problem, they had to pick when everyone is on vacation.

Glad to see you had such a good time. We have a lot of nature to listen to around here and sometimes the frogs drive me crazy at night. By the way, Shelly (Write for a Reader) is having the same problem with her scheduled posts.

I've also noticed that scheduling posts with Blogger doesn't work anymore. Yesterday I tested this again, scheduling a post for two minutes later and it didn't post on its own. It's super frustrating because I'm going on vacation next month for three weeks and was hoping to be able to schedule a bunch of posts in advance! Argh!

I am glad you had such a wonderful time, Anna. It's been ages since I last went camping. We used to go all the time when I was growing up. I'm more of a hotel type person now. I like to have a working bathroom and shower! LOL

Glad you had a good time.

The computer often frustrates me, too! It makes you need another vacation IMMEDIATELY!

I always need a vacation after a vacation. :)

I haven't had any problems with my scheduled posts. Hmm?

Welcome home! Glad you had a nice vacation, although I can relate to the laundry mountain that always follows you home from vacation. It's the unavoidable evil connected to a great vacation!

don't you just love when blogger works so well...lol

I'm glad you enjoyed vacation. I'm not looking forward to going back to work.

Sounds like your vacation was great (except for that one rainy day) and that getting away was just what you needed. That is, until you got home to see Blogger had let you down! Sorry about that!! I love going on vacation but I don't enjoy all of that wonderful laundry that follows you home!! Take Care :)

It sounds like you had a wonderful time! :) I'm glad you and your family were able to take a break from the daily grind and commune with nature; it recharges the soul, doesn't it?
We are "sort of" on vacation too; hubby is off until Tuesday next week so we've been fishing, tomorrow we're taking our son to the fair and our son is starting up a little snack stand on our front lawn lol :) Good times!!
It’s too bad that the scheduled posts didn't show up as planned but we all understand. :)
Glad you're back!

Welcome back Anna. It's nice to have you back even though I totally understand being on vacation is so much better. I haven't had any problems with scheduling on blogger but I usually only schedule one at a time.

I didn't even know you could schedule posts!! I hope it starts working again, i would like to try that.
Thanks for the comment on my book review!
Hope you have a wonderful day!

I'm glad you had a good time.

None of my scheduled posts are working either. Blogger has had it as a Known Issue since the middle of June. I think it might be time to get on that, don't you? ;)

Add me to the not having scheduled posts appear when they should crowd. Blogger says they fixed it for some people but that it's still an issue for others. ::sigh:: Anyway, I'm glad you had a nice vacation and I can definitely relate to needing a vacation after your vacation! Me too!!!

Ahh that's a drag. I too scheduled all of mine to post last week when I was away - but it worked. I just got back late Monday, but am ready for vacation again. Let's go Anna!

Thanks everyone! Sorry to hear that some of you were having the same problems with Blogger's automatic posting feature. It worked for my Mailbox Monday post earlier this week, and I hope it keeps working because I'll be away for four days next week and will need to use it.

As for vacation pics, I hope to post a few next week!
