Mailbox Monday -- September 21

Just a few books were added to my shelves...er, floor... this week. I'm being extremely picky about review copies, but they seem to make their way to me anyway.

Here's what I received in the mail last week:

Selfless by David Michael Slater (from Absey & Co.)

The Return by Victoria Hislop (from HarperCollins for an upcoming TLC Book Tour)

Where the River Ends by Charles Martin (from Read it Forward)

The Angelic Way: Angels Through the Ages and Their Meaning for Us by Rami Shapiro (unrequested from Meryl Zegarek Public Relations)

I also snagged a free copy of Other Women's Children by Perri Klass at the train station. I think it's cool that people leave their books behind to be adopted.

Thanks to Marcia from The Printed Page for hosting Mailbox Monday. (Click the link to see what other participants received.)

What books did you welcome into your home recently?

I don't know much about these books, but if I were to judge by the cover, I'd be happy with that bit of loot!

All five of your new books sound very interesting. And to think you didn't have to pay for not one!

I have become very picking about ARCs as well but they still seem to come faster than I can keep up.

Happy Reading, Anna.

I really enjoy Perri Klass's writing, so Other Women's Children sounds great. Also I recently joined Book Crossing & its good to know that books are found. I think it will inspire me to leave more out there.

Thanks for stopping by!

I've found books on airplanes and always wonder if I was 'supposed' to find it! Which is why I think bookcrossing.com is a fun idea but I always forget about releasing my books. Great haul, enjoy!

Great haul this week! I forgot to do a "Mailbox Monday" post this week (I was too busy trying out my new washer and dryer) but I only got one book last week- "Friends Like These" by Danny Wallace. Enjoy your new books!

The cover of The Return automatically made me think of Schindler's List... The red.. Now I am curious about it and it is not even about the same thing!
