Mailbox Monday -- October 19

Happy Monday!  My mailbox was pretty bare last week, but that's fine by me.  I'm accepting few review copies these days, and I hope to finish the ones sitting patiently on my desk and bookshelves over the next few months.

Here's what I received:

The Sentinels:  Fortunes of War by Gordon Zuckerman from Planned Television Arts for review.

Riddle in the Mountain by Daryl Burkhard from Dogtooth Books/Nomad PressThe Girl and I will be reading this one for Eco-Libris' green books campaign in November.

Mailbox Monday is graciously hosted by Marcia from The Printed Page.  Visit Marcia's blog to see what other bookworms received in the mail, purchased, or otherwise obtained over the last week.

What books did you welcome into your home recently?

I hear you about accepting limited review copies! I didn't actually get any books last week, and although that was a tiny bit sad, it also gave me a chance to wade through my towering TBR pile. Enjoy your new books!

Looks like you will be dipping into the serious side of books with these. Enjoy!

I haven't heard of either one of these...
At least this will give you a chance to catch up. That is what I am working on. Now, if I could only read a little faster..

I haven't read either of these but they both sound good. I had an empty mailbox this week, nothing at all came. That's good though because I have a lot of catching up to do! I've been cutting back on library books too but I did get two good ones. And with the holidays coming there will be even more new books to read! Busy, busy, busy!

Ooh, you're part of the Eco-Libris campaign too! They contacted me, but unfortunately I took too long to claim a book and couldn't find any I wanted to read. I hope yours is a good one!
