Fall Into Reading Update

I've seen a bunch of bloggers updating their Fall Into Reading lists, so I figured I'd join in. I originally listed 14 books, but I'm going to add more as I need to clear out my TBR pile for a bunch of virtual book tours beginning next week and lasting through early December.

You can view my original Fall Into Reading list here.

Here's the updated list. I've completed the books written in red.

1. The Heretic Queen by Michelle Moran

Wow, if you say you can do it, then I believe you completely. I have a cousin who can read that much. I envy you guys!

Is there a book from your list that you want to read first?

Hey ambition is good!

Jeannie: Once I finish Life After Genius (hopefully today), I'll start The 19th Wife. I'd probably read a lot less if I didn't have such a long work commute. But I like that time to myself; I actually need it!

Lenore: That's what I was telling myself!

That is quite an ambitious list. Good luck!

Can't wait to see what you think of Matrimony- it's been making the rounds! :-)

That is an ambitious list Anna. I've changed mine several times but have only been changing the side bar. When I post my final list I'll put my original on there and my final and everybody can get a good laugh at how different they'll be.

Anna, GOOD LUCK!!!

Your list makes me feel better :)

Hey, this is off topic but there is a movie I've been meaning to ask if you've watched, about WWII.

It's called Enigma and stars the oh-so-yummy Dougray Scott. Here is the IMDB link:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0157583/

My husband and I watched the premier in an art house theatre in Kansas City and loved it. I don't think it had a big release so many people have never heard of it.

I didn't realize until I looked up the link just now that it's based on a book. I'll have to check that out.

Have you seen the movie or read the book?

Good luck! I've been reading things not on my list but not adding them. I kept my list pretty short! They are all ARCs I hope to have read by the end of this challenge!

I love my commute too, sit down read and all of a sudden you're there!

That is quite a list. It looks like you've got a good start. I'd love to hear what you think of Pemberbly by the Sea.

Wow Anna! That's some list! I've had my eye on a couple of those so I can't wait to hear what you think.

I may have to add a few more titles to my list but yours looks great! I'm sure you will finish them all. I look forward to the reviews.

Bermudaonion: Thanks!

Marie: I've got a few books ahead of that one, but I'm looking forward to it!

Dar: Looking forward to comparing your lists! But I promise not to laugh. ;)

Shana: Glad my list makes you feel better! No I haven't seen Enigma, but thanks for the recommendation!

Alea: I should've kept my list short, but I never do things small! LOL My commute would go faster if the people around me weren't so annoying! Like today, this woman kept humming in my ear when I was trying to read. UGH

Oh, and I'll check out that meme!

Nymeth: Thanks!

Nicole: I'll be reviewing that one very soon!

Serena: If only my weekly totals came anywhere near 85 books! LOL

Dawn: Thanks for believing in me! I need all the support I can get to get the books AND the socks done! :)

Ti: Thanks for the vote of confidence!

Bookfool: I don't know how to be anything other than ambitious! I keep telling myself it's a good thing I love to read!

That's totally annoying! I had two really loud phone talkers on my bus. One had a little kid with her who was getting bored and wanted attention so she spanked him a bunch of times. I wanted to tell her to get off the phone and pay attention to him and he wouldn't do that!

Anna said...

Alea: That's just awful! Some of the things that go on around me while I'm on the train or the bus...I'm just glad my nose is always in a book. Of course I stay aware of my surroundings, but...well, you know how it is.

Alea said...

Oh yes! I always tend to sit right behind the person that talks to themselves or the really smelly person. Usually the express bus home doesn't have many people though so we get lots of space.

Anna said...

Alea: I'm always on the train, subway, and bus at rush hour, so it's packed. Sounds like you have my luck when it comes to sitting near the wrong people. I wish I had the guts to start talking to myself...maybe people would stay away from me! :)

It would totally work... talk to yourself and then turn and stare at the person behind you. So scary.
