So you might have heard that Stephanie of Stephanie's Written Word is hosting the Everything Austen Challenge. All you have to do to participate is commit to six Austen-themed things (such as Austen novels, Austen sequels, movies about Austen books, movies/books about Austen's life, and yes, those zombie/vampire Austen books) from July 1, 2009, to January 1, 2010. Oh, and there will be prizes!Serena and I plan to watch a couple of movies together (Colin Firth, here I come!), and I'll throw some bookish stuff in there, too. I'm not committing to any particular book or movie right now; I'll probably play this challenge by ear.

Gee thanks! I needed another challenge like a hole in the head. But since I've been considering hosting an Austen challenge for months now (but never doing more than seeing if people would be interested), I have to sign up for this one.
I caved too!! Doing my post tomorrow..couldn't resist this challenge!!

I have been terrible with the challenges I signed up for this year (note: NO books read for War Thru the Generations!), and worse than terrible about the challenge I'm hosting (LT Authors).
I'll definitely watch some films, and I read Laurie Viera Rigler's new RUDE AWAKENINGS OF A JANE AUSTEN ADDICT ... my resolve is weakening ...
