Mailbox Monday -- January 25

Although I didn't want the weekend -- or the hours of Beatles Rock Band at Serena's house -- to end, it's time for another Mailbox Monday.  Marcia from The Printed Page hosts this weekly meme, where book lovers share the titles they received for review, purchased, or otherwise obtained over the past week.

I received only 2 books for review, but they both look really good:

Mr. Darcy Broke My Heart by Beth Pattillo, from Phenix & Phenix

Let the Great World Spin by Colum McCann, from Random House for an upcoming TLC tour

What books did you add to your shelves recently?

Oh, I love the cover for Mr. Darcy even though it reminds me of Girls in Trucks, a thoroughly disagreeable book. I hope you enjoy them.

I love the Mr. Darcy cover too. Hope they're both good books!

Mr. Darcy Broke My Heart looks great. My mailbox is at The Crowded Leaf.

Stay away from Rock Band Beatles...it is addicting! Hours later, you will wonder what just happened to your day. On the bright side, I find it quite a wonderful way to work out my arms (at least if you are playing the drums!).

Enjoy the Colum McCann! I was lucky enough to snag an ARC in the summer and it was wonderful!

These do look really good. I like the look of these "miniature covers". Sometimes I wonder if I should reduce the size of the pictures on my own blog--I hope it's not slow to load!

I haven't gotten any new books for a few days, but that's a good thing. Hopefully, I can catch up on my reading a bit!

I have Let The Great World Spin too. It looks like such an unassuming little book but everyone raves about it. I have to see what all the fuss is about!

Both books sound interesting. Love the cover on Mr. Darcy. That dress is dramatic! Enjoy!

Thank you all for stopping by my mailbox!

Sandy: Too bad I suck really bad at the drums!

Suko: I tend to use the small pictures for my mailbox posts and larger cover images for reviews. I haven't had any problems loading your blog.

Dar: I'm lucky to have had her as a friend for the last 14 or so years!
