Welcome to Mailbox Monday, the weekly meme hosted by Marcia from The Printed Page where book lovers share the titles they received for review, purchased, or otherwise obtained over the past week. Here are the books I added to my shelves:
The Book of Air and Shadows by Michael Gruber, from a co-worker
Glorious by Bernice McFadden, from the author
The Ex-Mrs. Hedgefund by Jill Kargman, from Penguin. I'm not sure why I received this book, and since I'm not sure it's my cup of tea, I'll either give it a try at some point or pass it on to my mother and see if I can get her to share her thoughts here.
Zan-Gah: A Prehistoric Adventure by Allan Richard Shickman, a contest win from Suko's Notebook (thanks!)
Zan-Gah and the Beautiful Country by Allan Richard Shickman, a contest win from Suko's Notebook (thanks!)
What books did you add to your shelves recently?

GAH! I LOVED The Book of Air and Shadows (I reviewed it here, if you're interested), so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I too received it from a friend, so I was surprised to find she'd give away such a delightful, fun read!
I think I like the sound of Kargman :)
Nice haul! Enjoy your new additions!
My mailbox is here.
Interesting variety of books. Not sure why Penguin gave you that book, but good luck with it.
Glorious sounds like one I would enjoy. Have a great week and happy reading!
Interesting books you received this week. Enjoy all your new reads.
You got some really good books and quite the mix. Don't you just love surprise books?
Enjoy and thanks for stopping by my blog.
Looking forward to reading your reviews on these books Enjoy:)
I liked the Zan-Gah books!
Mondays: Mailbox/Musings and all!
I just love surprise books! Too bad that one doesn't appeal to you. Happy reading!
Nice variety - I hope you enjoy them!

I just finished my first Bernice McFadden book last week - Sugar - and loved it. Enjoy all your reads!
This are new to me, but they look and sound great! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on them!! Have a great day, Anna!
I'd like to read Book of Air and Shadows. I read his Forgery of Venus and thought it was pretty good, but I've hear Air and Shadows is the best.
The Book of Air and Shadows looks like something I would like. I'll add it to my list.
Anna....Thank you again for the book I received this week, War on the Margins. :) Can't wait to read it.
You have an intriguing set of books there!
Hope you enjoy them! Thanks for visiting my blog.
I'm curious about Glorious -- I hope you enjoy it!
The Book of Air and Shadows looks really interesting. Enjoy! Here's my Mailbox.
Nice books. I've gotten a few I haven't asked for either. If it's nothing I want it usually ends up at the library.
I love surprises -- maybe you should give it a try as something different.
Enjoy your books!
great mailbox Anna, my daughter and are reading the Zan-Gah books now. They are different!

Nice mailbox! Enjoy your books!
The Zan-Gah books seem to be popular. My MM is here.
Glorious sounds really good. Think I'm in the minority because I didn't like The Book of Air and Shadows.
Such a nice stash you received! Happy reading!
What great loot! I think I have The Book of Air & Shadows somewhere in my stacks but you know how that goes :)
I've lucked out and gotten quite a few books lately too so I need to post about those!
Nice :) I have the Book of Air and Shadows on my TBR pile somewhere; I look forward to your review!
Oh Anna, you always have so many great books I never heard of :D Have fun reading them!
Thank you all for stopping by my mailbox!
Suko: That was pretty fast. And he even mailed them Media Mail.
Wisteria: You're very welcome. Happy reading!
What a mailbox! I like the look of "The Book of Air and Shadows". Happy reading!
GLORIOUS looks wonderful! I have McFadden's SUGAR on my shelf to read this month (did you read that? I don't remember ...)
Alice: Thanks!
Dawn: I've heard Sugar is really good. I don't have that one, but I'll probably get my hands on a copy if I enjoy Glorious.
