Finally, I Can Stop Piling Books on the Floor!

When Jason from CSN Stores contacted me about reviewing one of their products, I was ecstatic.  Some of you might remember the story I told ages ago about how I came home from work one day to find books all over my bedroom floor.  The bookcase I'd owned for almost a decade already was fed up with each of its four shelves having two rows of books, and when I started stuffing books into any available opening, it just gave up altogether.

Given our plans to replace much of our bedroom furniture and re-do the living room in the coming months, I had not yet selected a replacement bookcase.  But with CSN's help, my husband, The Girl, and I chose this one:  the Wildon Home Westonville Display Cabinet in Cappuccino  -- 911375.  I wanted something elegant and a little different, and I can't wait to see if it's as beautiful in person as it is in the picture.

While you wait for my review of this bookcase, I encourage you to check out CSN Stores.  If I like the bookcase, I plan to order some for The Girl's bedroom.  (She's a book collector, just like her mommy!)  But CSN offers an array of products, from recessed lighting and cookware to toys and shoes, so there's a lot to choose from.

I know many of you received bookcases and other products from CSN in recent months.  Feel free to tell me about your experiences in the comments.

I actually ordered an office chair for my son through CSN, and it was very well made and easy to put together. I WANTED a bookcase, but that is a bigger project. We intend to re-do our bedroom too, and I really want to get some big oak ones, so that is on the list down the road. What I did do recently was purge, which gave me room on my existing shelves for everything that was on the floor. Made my month!

I'm looking forward to getting my bookshelf as well. Hubby picked out our selection. I'm so excited. It will be nice for you not to have all those books on the floor.

You can never have too many bookshelves! Well, I bet many of us can't. :)

Looks nice, but too small for me.
We have turned the smallest room in our house into a library, but it's stuffed and the books are slowly making their way across the house, so we're planning on asking someone to build us a large bookcase for in the livingroom.

I could always use more bookcases, although I don't know where I'd put them. Enjoy! :)

Beautiful bookcase, Anna! I'm in the midst of a move but I hope once the dust settles to get a bookshelf or four and get my books off my floor and out of my closet!
Enjoy it!!

What a beautiful bookcase. My husband keeps promising to build me one, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I'm so happy for you- and jealous, LOL!!! The bookshelf is gorgeous. I've been begging for more from my hubby, and he promises me that someday he'll comply! For now I'm repurposing my other furniture as book holders- the fridge is next!!!

That is a very nice book case. My husband made me one shaped like a canoe. It is now full and I am stacking books on my dresser since my 1 year old will not leave my books alone if I just stack them. I guess I will have to stop getting library books and start reading my own so I can give them away, but then I will probably just buy more!

I love your pick! It's cool and modern. I'd love to see a picture with it filled w/ books! Especially since it's shelves are kinda funky. :)

I love the bookcase I reviewed for CSN Furniture. I want to order another but I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I like the 'staggered' look of the shelves on this bookcase, and will look forward to reading your review of the product.

Hi Anna. Your new bookshelves look wonderful! I dream of having a nice bookshelf system, a reading room of sorts in the home would be lovely too.
Enjoy your new bookshelves.

I want to say thanks for stopping by my blog and your comment on my Sarah's Key review post. Yes, it is absolutely okay that you linked up my post to the Book Reviews: WWII page on War Through the Generations. Thanks for telling me that you did so. I have to say, War Through the Generations is a very cool site. I am going to put into my google reader. I was not aware of this site. I am very glad to know of it. Thanks Anna.

I hope you'll enjoy your new bookcase. It looks wonderful! When we moved into our house a few months ago I got brand new bookcases. Mine are from IKEA but I love 'em. It's so fun to re-organize everything on them again :)

Enjoy!
