Giveaway: Gods Behaving Badly by Marie Phillips

Since I haven't yet made a list of my favorite 2008 reads, and I haven't caught up in reviews of the books I read this year (which I hope to do over the next few days, fingers crossed!), I figured a giveaway was a great way to end the year.

Hachette Book Group is offering my readers 5 copies of Gods Behaving Badly by Marie Phillips. This was a great book (you can read my review here), and I highly recommend it.

To enter, simply leave a comment on this post with your email address or blog URL and the title of the funniest book you've ever read.

Because the books are being shipped by the publisher, this giveaway is open only to U.S. and Canadian addresses and no P.O. boxes.

Deadline is midnight EST on Friday, Jan. 9.

The funniest book I've read, that's a tough one. I know after I leave a comment here I'll think of a better answer. :)

I will say Marley & Me. I have a yellow lab, so I could relate, and I laughed out loud throughout the book.

I can't remember what's the funniest book I've read. That's pitiful, isn't it?

Thanks for the opportunity to win. This book sounds interesting....and maybe I need to read more funny books.

The funniest book I have read this year is a tie between Fluke: Or I Know Why The Winged Whale Sings by Christopher Moore (I love his books) and Dead Famous by Ben Elton.

I'd like to try for a copy, please! I hate to admit it, but the funniest books I've read are probably Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. Grandma Mazur always cracks me up.

I hope you have a great New Year!

The funniest book I have ever read was Skipping Christmas by John Grisham. My husband and I laughed out loud!

I do echo readers who laugh at Stephanie's blunder, I mean adventures in Evanovich's series. Grandma Mazur is a hoot!

I would have to say the funniest book that I have read lately is "All Families Are Psychotic" by Douglas Coupland. It's one of his better books, and all the psychotic the characters are definately lovable and you can relate to all of them in some way.

Lets see... funniest book lately? Well, it hasn't been lately, but James Alan Gardner is very funny. I laughed out loud reading his books Ascending and Trapped. Terry Pratchet is also quite funny. I love the wry wit of Juliett McKenna also, and Martha Wells....

Lately tho??? I haven't read anything that made me laugh out loud. This book sounds like it would do the trick tho. And I love Greek mythology, too.

Hmmm, funniest book I have ever read?
I think I would have to say "The Dirtiest Job" by Christopher Moore was one of the funniest books.

Three Men in a Boat, by Jerome K. Jerome -- I was giggling out loud through almost every page.

Anything by Christopher Moore rocks; my favorite of his is Lamb:The Gospel According to Biff.

I get a kick out of Julie Kenner's demon-hunting soccer mom series, too. Maybe not the very funniest ever, but still good.

I'm another who would love to win the book but can't remember the funniest book I read; maybe The Red Hat Club

I think the funniest book I've read recently (besides Evanovich's Plum books) is Agnes and the Hitman by Jennifer Crusie and Bob Mayer. I'm not usually one for chicklit but this one was a hoot.

Janet Evanovich is perhaps one of the funniest authors I've read. I started with "One For the Money" and went through to eleven. I was especially fond of her grand-mother's portrayal. Thanks for having the wonderful giveaway.
