Company of Liars is on my list -- I added it after reading Jill's review at Fizzy Thoughts. That's neat that you picked it up for free at a train station.
The shelf of free books at the train station sounds like it could be fun and interesting. Usually the only thing that ends up on the free shelf at the library is religious tracts. :)
Everybody needs some down time Anna, just get the rest you need and you'll be back in full swing in no time. I've been stuck to the olympics as well, instead of knitting my other Ravelympics project....oops! ;O)

What a nice stack! I have been in a bit of a slump as well, at least with printed books. Too busy. I am enjoying what I am reading, it is just going very slow. I have yet to start the Vietnam Challenge. Like the Graphic Novel challenge, I think I just need to pick a month and read all of my books for that challenge at one time. I have a hard time staying focused otherwise!

I know what you mean about the Olympics eating into reading time. Not only that, but my sleeping time as well. We were up well after midnight because of last night's skating!

In answer to your question re: sock yarn, I used Trekking Pro Natura. It's a great yarn, but was not the right fit for the pattern I used.

Jodie: They don't really hand them out. There's a shelf in the station where people leave books they don't want anymore. Once in awhile you'll find something good. Usually it's only old magazines.
