Yup, I started blogging on June 4, 2007, but it took me about a year to really decide what I wanted my blog to be. Diary of an Eccentric started as a knitting blog, with some side discussions on books and writing. I wanted a place to write something -- anything -- so that I'd be writing on a regular basis. Back then Serena and Dawn were my only readers. (Love you guys!)
I didn't do so good with the regular posting at first, since I'm not a speedy knitter, but switching to mostly book reviews was the best thing this lifetime bookworm has ever done. Today, I'm happy to say the blog is pretty much an all-books-all-the-time zone, but when I dust off my needles and get knitting again, I'll be sure to post about my projects.
I just want to thank all of my readers and commenters. I'd still be blogging about books if no one stopped by, but you all bring a smile to my face and brighten my day each time you visit.
